Registration (now closed): Opens April 21! You must register by September 29th for early bird rates of $25. General registration begins September 30th and cuts off October 13th. Day of registration opens 7:30 a.m on October 20th.
Call for Presentations:
The planning committee for the 3rd Annual North Georgia Autism Conference seeks your proposals for presentations.
The Conference will have 3 tracks:
(3) Transition to Adulthood/Young Adults
The preferred deadline for all submissions to be considered by the planning committee is 5:00 pm on Friday, March 31, 2017. Any submission received after that date (1) may or may not be considered by the committee and (2) is dependent on the number of sessions filled by the committee already. The committee reserves the right to close the submission deadline early, if all presenter/session slots are filled. Click here for details.
Vendors/exhibitors include many autism-related resource providers or advocacy organizations from Chattanooga, Knoxville, North Georgia, and surrounding region. Organizations who wish to exhibit must complete an application here.
Without our tremendous sponsors, our conference registration fees would be significantly increased. Their support allows this event to be accessible to hundreds of parents, adults with autism, and professionals who would not be able to afford regular conference prices. Available for educators, professionals, health and social workers. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be provided by the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC). Participants can register to receive official CEUs when registering for the conference at an additional $25.00.
Certificates of Attendance:
We will provide free “certificates of attendance” to attendees at the end of the conference. These certificates are often used by teachers and other educator staff. Check with your schools to see if this type of certificate is sufficient to count for your credits.
Check-in table opens at 7:30 am at the Dalton Convention Center. You’ll receive your name badge, program, and sign up for door prizes. Exhibitors will be setting up at this time so you can visit them and we’ll have coffee and tea win the exhibitor room. We strongly encourage you to arrive early to avoid lines, parking issues, to visit exhibitors, get some coffee, and to make connections with other parents, teachers, adults, and service providers.
Lunch is included in registration fees. Our keynote speakers will present during this time. Please try to go through the lines and find a seat before it starts.
Names will be drawn before lunch and announced during lunch time. The names of winners will also be displayed at the check-in table which is where winners can also pick up their prizes.
